In 2014, I spent managed a Cambodian team of reporters, editors, and designers as editor-in-chief of the Kingdom’s first and only sports monthly, CamSports—a bilingual publication for which I wrote all of the English articles and supplied the text for the vast majority of the translated Khmer features. I wrote over 50 local sports features across eleven issues, including coverage on soccer, volleyball, MMA, pétanque and Cambodia’s historic, albeit under-reported, kickboxing scene. I supplied the photographs for several features as well. I wrote the samples (including the basis for the Khmer text) and captured the images in the work included here.
